More and more milk in the grocery store is also ultra pasteurized. While ultra pasteurizing allows the milk to last much longer on the shelf, you may have noticed that it doesn’t taste very good. Beyond the taste, high temperature pasteurization also hurts the milk proteins and can cause digestive problems. Our milk undergoes a more gentle lower temperature pasteurization that helps preserve nutrition and taste.
